Richard A. Chind: Father, Grandfather, and Brother
Richard A. Chind, 73, of
6458 Allentown Road, Town of Wirt, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at
home after a lengthy illness.
Born on September 25,
1951, in Rhinebeck, New York he was a son of Gustive and Dorothea (Haack)
Chind. In 1979, in the Wellsville United
Methodist Church he married the former Sara Cocco who predeceased him in 2012.
Richard was a member of
the Knights Creek Church in Scio.
He is survived by a son Richard
A. (Casey) Chind, Jr.of Friendship; Two Grandchildren,Kennedy (Christopher)
Rogers of Friendship and Jason Chind of Friendship; A Sister, Shirley (Joe)
Rondeau of Louisiana and Several Nieces and Nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by a brother William Chind.
Graveside services will be held in Bowler Memorial Cemetery, Little Genesee, at the convenience of the family.
