*Sheriff’s deputies responded to Greenbay Road in the
town of Gainesville to assist a motorist that went off the road during a recent
snow storm. Deputies allege the driver, Austin J. Whitney, 25, of Scio had a
suspended license for failing to answer a summons. He was arrested and charged
with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. He will answer the charge on
March 17th in town of Gainesville court.
*Randy L. Page, 50, of Arcade was arrested for petit larceny
following an alleged shoplifting complaint at Walmart in Warsaw. It was
reported that Page had concealed approximately $38.75 of Pokeman trading cards
before fleeing the scene. Page was quickly pulled over on State Route 19 where
he was charged and given a court appearance ticket.
