New York State Police Blotter – July 10, 2025
7/10/25 2:57 p.m.- After investigating a shots fired
complaint in the town of Corning, state police arrested Robert Wesley Dawson,
19, of Elmira. He was taken into custody in the town of Andover. Dawson was charged
with two felony criminal possession of a loaded firearm and six counts of
felony first-degree reckless endangerment. He is currently being held in the
Steuben County Jail in lieu of cash bail.
7/10/25 5:35 p.m. – Hornell-based state police
investigated a vehicle crash in the town of Greenwood. As a result, troopers
arrested Thomas P. Moore, 59, of Rexville. He was charged with driving while
intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated with an alleged BAC above
.18%. He will answer the charges in court at a later date.
