Pennsylvania State Police Blotter – Coudersport Station
Hector Township – State police say two people were
injured, one seriously, in a two-vehicle crash on Phoenix Run Road. Troopers
said Naomi J. Newcomb, 75, of Sabinsville, was trapped inside he vehicle. She
suffered suspected serious injuries and was flown to Robert Packer Hospital in
Sayre, PA. The other driver, Albert G. Allen III, 47, of Sabinsville sustained a
suspected minor injury. The crash remains under investigation.
Coudersport – The Coudersport Patrol Unit reports the
arrest of Amber, Owczarzak, 28, of Buffalo, NY. She was stopped on North Main
Street and charged with DUI, marijuana possession and another summary offense. A
preliminary hearing is set for August 5th.
Ulysses – State
police were called to investigate a crash on State Route 6. The driver, Gavyn
E. McKervey, 18, of Roulette, crossed the highway and struck a guide rail. He driver
complained of head and neck pain and was taken to UPMC Wellsboro He was issued
a traffic ticket.
Wharton
Township – Troopers were called to investigate a theft by deception complaint
involving a 71-year-old man from Austin, PA. Police said the victim suffered
multiple crypto currency transactions involving $167,000. The investigation is
ongoing.
Ulysses
Township – While traveling on US Route 6W, state police arrested Kevin Cloak,
50, of Levittown, PA. He was charged with drug possession of possession of drug
paraphernalia.
