Bath, NY – Steuben County 911 is excited to announce the transition from CODE Red to NYAlert, a new and improved public notification platform. This change is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance communication with the community and improve the delivery of emergency alerts, notifications, and other important updates for critical events.

Effective January 20th, 2025, Steuben County began utilizing NYAlert for all notifications related to critical events, including weather-related emergencies, local incidents, evacuations, and public safety announcements. NYAlert provides a more comprehensive service with enhanced features and greater reliability, ensuring that residents are promptly informed in case of an emergency.
