Carol enjoyed watching western movies and doing her various jobs at the WNY DDSO which included working in the kitchen.
Surviving are her siblings, Eugene (Raquel) McCarthy of Angelica, Deborah (Douglas) Wilson of Kenmore, a brother-in-law, Stephen P. Sznajder and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers, Edmund McCarthy, Charles E. McCarthy Jr., Patrick McCarthy, two sisters, Mary McCarthy Cartwright, Jane Ann McCarthy Sznajder and a brother-in-law, Clarence Cartwright.
Family and friends may gather from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N Genesee Street, Fillmore. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, February 17, 2025, at 11:00 am in St. Patrick’s Church, Fillmore. Fr. John Cullen will be celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Fillmore.
