Karen Mehlenbacher Paulman, age 67, died unexpectedly August 31st, 2024.
Born to Robert Mehlenbacher and Shirley Ward on April 1st 1957. Karen was the eldest child followed by Terry Allen (deceased) , Brian Ennis (Mary), Bonnie Nelson(Joe) Donna Coombes , William Coombes (Stephanie)and Bobby Ward(Teresa)
Karen grew up in Angelica, NY and was a longtime local resident, also living previously in Massachusetts and Pennsylvania.
Karen was preceded in death by her fathers Robert Mehlenbacher and Donald Coombes, her husband William Paulman, and sister Terry Allen.
Karen and Bill were avid outdoorsmen and enjoyed hunting and their bird dogs, Lizzie and Gunner.
Professionally, Karen was a nurse for nearly 30 years and enjoyed getting to know and taking care of her patients.
Karen also enjoyed gardening, canning fruits and vegetables and being active.
Karen had one son, Jason Hallock, a daughter in law, Angel and four grandchildren, Jonathan, Savannah, Jordyn and Harrison. She also had one great- grandchild, Theo, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will be present on Friday (September 6, 2024) from 3-5pm at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home 101 West Avenue in Angelica, where a Memorial Service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 5:00pm with Pastor Eric Ash officiating.
