On Thursday, September 12, the Jones Memorial team gathered at the new Primary Care clinic space at 35 Glen St in Alfred, NY to celebrate the grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The clinic space has been open and seeing patients since October 2023, but with ongoing construction within the location, the official grand opening was postponed until 2024.

Said Board Chairman, Karol Marciano, "Healthcare is the most basic and vital service needed in rural communities. Primary care physicians and their team provide a broad range of services and treat a wide spectrum of illnesses…Today, we are proud to say people in our communities have ready access to primary care without having to travel long distances.”

Jones Memorial CEO further explained the vital importance of access to care in rural communities, stating, "The stabilization and growth of a community comes in the form of a three-legged stool.  You need an education system, access to jobs and of course healthcare.  We are proud to partner with this community, Alfred, NY, and its surrounding area, to bring that access to care.”
