Allegany County Churches Focus
on Back to Church Weekend
Several
Allegany County churches are gearing up for participation in a national Back to
Church observance next weekend, with the
number to date being the most per population of any New York State county and
beyond.
The
designation, occurring this year on Saturday-Sunday, September 14-15, was
created many years ago to encourage congregants to return to church after
summer vacations and those who aren't affiliated with a church to check one
out.
The
Bible Baptist Church in Friendship is welcoming returning congregants and
visitors with a light luncheon following its 11AM Sunday service, with other
participating venues, located on a searchable national map at
https://tinyurl.com/Find-a-Church-Now-Map, including:
--
Lighthouse Christian Fellowship, 1498 Randolph Road, Alfred Station.
--
Alfred-Almond Baptist Church, 6751 State Route 21, Almond.

Angelica Baptist Church, 10 Park Circle.
--
