Obituary: Helen D. Pond, 90, Lawrenceville, PA
Helen D. POND, 90, of Lawrenceville, PA, died Thursday, September 5, 2024 in her home. Born June 11, 1934, in Brookfield, she was the daughter of Lynn Wakely and Beatrice E. Tanner Clark. On October 19, 1958, in Westfield, she married Hervey L. Pond, who predeceased her on May 27, 1996. A graduate of Harrison Valley High School, she was employed by Galeton Production and Westinghouse in Bath, NY. Helen was a member of Lady Lawrence Rebekah Lodge and Stony Fork Rebekah Lodge. Surviving are: four daughters, Sanna (Randy) Jackson of Arkport, NY, Sandra (Darrell) VanSkiver of Canaseraga, NY, Michele (Mike Morseman) Dexter of Lawrenceville, and Angela (Ronald) Scott of Ulysses; eleven grandchildren, Steve, Sara, Ashley, Jena, Brittany, Brandon, Callie, Jared, Stephanie, Ryan, and Jade; twenty great-grandchildren, Tyson, Tori, Fisher, Bryson, Tanner, Brooke, Alyssa, Dallas, Alexis, Troy, Clay, Lincoln, Ford, Henley, Delaney, Jayden, Zariah, Jaxon, Brantley, and Allison; nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, John Dee Clark. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, September 13, 2024 in The First Baptist Church of Ulysses. Rev. Allyn R. Baker will officiate. Private burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Austinburg. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The First Baptist Church of Ulysses, P.O.
