Obituary: Joyce E. Stuck Everitt Forrest, 88, Olean

Joyce E. Stuck Everitt Forrest 

Joyce E. Stuck Everitt Forrest, 88, of the Cranberry Apartments, Olean and a former resident of Ischua, New York passed away Saturday, September 07, 2024 at Cuba Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. 

Born on February 3, 1936, in Wirt, she was a daughter of Arthur and Gladys Heysham Stuck.  On December 23, 1955 she married Richard Everitt who predeceased her on June 1, 1974.  On October 30, 1981 she married James Forrest who predeceased her on July 23, 2013.  

Joyce was a graduate of Richburg Central Schools Class of 1953.  

She worked as an accountant for many years and in the medical field teaching EMT Courses.  She also taught Adult Education Classes at BOCES.  For twelve years she served as the Ischua Town Clerk. 

Joyce enjoyed being outdoors, taking care of her lawn, volunteering at Church and for the Fire Department.  She dearly loved her family and many friends. 

She is survived by

A Brother,  Douglas (Linda) Stuck of Friendship

A Sister, Lillian Blouvet of Friendship

A Sister-in-law, Marion Stuck of Bolivar

Several Step Grandchildren and Step Great Grandchildren, as well as Many Nieces and Nephews.

 

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was predeceased by a 7 brothers Frederick, Robert, Donald, Kenneth, James, Gary and Arthur, Jr., two sisters, Mary whom died as an infant and Florence Gordon. 

At her request there will be no services. 

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
