She was employed by Galeton Production and the U.S. Postal Service in Mills and Cowanesque. Loveda was a member of the Harrison Township Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving are: four sons, Richard (Claudette) Potter of Harrison Valley, Paul Potter of Harrison Valley, Duane (Renee) Potter of Covington, and Neal (Cheri) Potter of Harrison Valley; ten grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; a brother, Theodore Kibbe of Galeton; nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a granddaughter, Skyler; six sisters, Arloene Jones, Mary Lou Kibbe, Virginia Lampman, Beverly Tormey, Betty Metcalf, and Violet; and five brothers, Byron “Jum” Kibbe, Jacob H. Kibbe, Cleon Kibbe, Russell L. Kibbe, and Ivan L. “Ike” Kibbe, Jr.
A graveside service will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, September 21, 2024 in Whites Corners Cemetery. Rev. Timothy H. Miller will officiate. A Memorial Gathering will be held Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at the Harrison Township Community Building. Memorials may be made to Harrison Township Volunteer Fire Co., 112 E.
