Mary Lou Fourness “beloved mother and
grandmother”
ODIN, PA---Mary Lou Fourness, 77, of Odin, passed away on
Monday, September 16, 2024, in UPMC Cole, Coudersport, after a long battle with
cancer.
Born on Wednesday, October 2, 1946 in Coudersport, she was a
daughter of Ned L. and Quila K. Fischer Snyder.
On May 28, 1976 in the Riverside United Methodist Church in Roulette,
she married Llewellyn A. “Bub” Fourness, who passed away on December 31, 2020.
Mary Lou was a graduate of Port Allegany High School. She
was employed for over 40 years at the former L. H. Lincoln and Sons, Inc. in
Coudersport. In her later years, she was
a caregiver for several friends.
Mary Lou was a member of the Riverside United Methodist
Church in Roulette. She enjoyed doing crafts and baking. Her greatest love was her family.
Left to cherish her memory are a daughter, Andreana M. (Ron
Clark) Fourness of Port Allegany; a son, Jason R. (Toni) Fourness of Odin;
three grandchildren, Erica J. Moate, Marissa S. Simms, and A.J. Simms; three
great-granddaughters, Ava R. Moate, Anna G. Simms, and Mazie D. Welsh; and a
brother, Robert F. Snyder of Cuba, NY.
Family and friends may call from 11am to 12 noon on
Saturday, September 21, 2024, at the Riverside United Methodist Church, 30
River Street, Roulette, where funeral services will follow at 12 noon with
Pastor Jim Cannistraci, officiating.
Burial will be in Odin Cemetery, Odin.

Mary Lou’s family entrusted her care to Kevin J. Dusenbury,
