NYS Assembly Candidate Dan Brown in Wellsville on Sept 14th
Belmont, NY – Please join the Allegany County Democratic
Committee (ACDC) on Sat., Sept. 14th from 9:00 am to 11:00 am for a Meet and
Greet with Dan Brown, the Democratic candidate for the 148th Assembly District.
This reception will take place during ACDCs monthly “Coffee with Democrats” at
its Election Headquarters at 84 N. Main St., Wellsville, NY.
Dan Brown has served as elected supervisor of the Town of
Great Valley in Cattaraugus County for nearly 20 years. During that time, he oversaw an expansion of
the town’s youth program, the creation of a new playground and basketball
facility, a refurbishment of the popular Kill Buck Park and, most recently, a
new town park was established at the end of Mutton Hollow Road. Brown is chairman of the Cattaraugus County
Supervisors Association and a member of the Cattaraugus County Planning Board.
At each monthly “Coffee with Democrats”, the ACDC collects
non-perishable food and personal care items to be donated to a local food
pantry. This is one small way county
Democrats “serve our community.” For September, donated items will go to the
Alfred University Food Pantry to help battle food insecurity. Specific requests from the pantry include
non-perishable food (preferably in single serving, microwavable jars/cans with easy
open packaging that doesn’t require a can opener) and personal care products
such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste and deodorant.
The “Coffee with Democrats” event runs from 9:00 to 11:00 am
at Democratic Election Headquarters, 84 N. Main St., Wellsville, and is open to
all registered Democrats. Coffee, tea,
and light snacks will be served. Sign up here to attend: https://bit.ly/Coffee-w-Dems
