Paul E. CRIPPEN, 78, of Westfield, PA, died Sunday,
September 1, 2024 in his home. Born June
24, 1946, in Clymer Township, he was the son of Louis W. “Luke” and Arvilla M.
Seeley Crippen. On June 3, 1967, in
Williamson, NY, he married the former Peggy A. Blauvelt, who survives. He worked as a logger with his brothers,
Rial, Mike, and Gordon; and was last employed as a truck driver by Wade’s
Concrete, retiring in 2008. Paul was a
member of God’s New Beginnings Church in Harrison Valley. Surviving besides his wife, Peggy, are: a
son, Paul (Kelli) Crippen, Jr. of Ulysses; four daughters, Ronda (Scott)
Lamphier of Mills, Janet Crippen of Westfield, Tammie (Geno) Lampman of
Westfield, and Connie (Mike) Moyer of Sabinsville; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a brother, Mike (Lil)
Crippen of Sabinsville; three sisters, Christine Mitchell of Waterloo, NY, Lulu
Myrick of Geneva, NY, and Elsie Young of Sabinsville; nieces, nephews, and
cousins. In addition to his parents, he
was predeceased by five brothers, Gordon Crippen, Roger Crippen, Rial Crippen,
Melvin Crippen, and Howard Crippen.
Friends may call at the Harrison Valley C&MA Church on Thursday,
September 5, 2024 from 10:00 AM -- 12:00 PM, with Funeral Services following at
12:00 PM. Pastor Justin Prouty will
officiate. Burial will be in Riverview
Cemetery, Potter Brook. Memorials may be
made to God’s New Beginnings Church, 104 East Main St., Harrison Valley, PA
