David Garrett Terwilliger, 79, passed away peacefully on June 26, 2024. He was born January 25, 1945 to the late Merle and Helen Terwilliger in Angelica NY.
He graduated from Angelica High School in 1963. Shortly after, he joined the US Navy, honorably discharged after 2 years of service. David worked for various farms in the Alfred/Almond area before being hired on at GST BOCES. He retired from there after 25 years of service. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting, playing pool and riding his motorcycle. He also enjoyed crossword puzzles, riding his bicycle, and spending time with friends and family. David was a humble and hardworking man with a generous heart. He financially supported multiple orphans through the Christian Organization, World Vision, giving generously every month since 1987. David also enjoyed watching sports on TV, mainly hockey {Sabres}, baseball (Mets), and cheering on the Buffalo Bills. He was a very sweet Uncle, a Loyal son, a brother and a good friend. He is survived by brother Russell (Margaret) Terwilliger of Arkansas, sister Carol (Carl) Schenck of Jasper, NY. He is also missed by one niece, Emily {Danny} Knox and their children Liviyah and Isaiah, all of Arkansas. A special thanks to Tom and Linda Sharrett for their friendship, loyalty and kindness over the years. Burial was at the Until the Day Dawn Cemetery, Angelica, NY.
