Complete Obituary: Sharon R. Albney, 66, Coudersport

Sharon R. ALBNEY, 66, of Coudersport, PA, formerly of Port Allegany, died Friday, July 19, 2024 in Sweden Valley Manor, Coudersport.  Born March 31, 1958, in Coudersport, she was the daughter of Frank V. and Dorothy M. Wright Albney.  Sharon worked on the family farm growing up.  A graduate of Port Allegany High School, she was employed by W.R. Case & Sons Company in Bradford in her younger years.  Sharon was devoted to her family and loved her grandchildren.  She enjoyed yard sales and collecting.  Surviving are: four children, Jack Albney of Northeast, Jeffrey “Jeff” (Heather) Albney of Port Allegany, Jason Albney of Coudersport, and Sandra Perkins Hurd of Shinglehouse; eleven grandchildren, Makayla Albney, McKyle Albney, McCoy Albney, Heaven Hurd, Aubree Hurd, Brittney Hurd, Hannah Albney, Tory Lynn Hurd, Cory Hurd, Jr., Connor Hurd, and Austin Albney; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Teresa and Maria; several nieces and nephews; and three step-children, Diana “Dee Dee” Perkins of Ulysses, Debbie Perkins Brewer of Coudersport, and Timothy “Tim” Perkins of Sarasota, FL.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her longtime companion, Jack Carl Perkins.  A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, July 26, 2024 at Olney-Foust Funeral Homes & Crematory, Ulysses, PA.  Rev.
