COUDERSPORT, PA---Kimberley A. Hoak, 69, a lifelong resident of Coudersport, passed away unexpectedly in her home on Sunday, June 30, 2024.
Born on Saturday, February 12, 1955 in Coudersport, she was a daughter of Donald A. and Phyllis J. Warner Hoak.
Kim was a graduate of Coudersport High School. She was employed in the legal field for most of her working career. Her last position was as a reporter for the Potter-Leader Enterprise in Coudersport.
In her early years, she was an avid hunter. She loved her flower gardens. Kim was an advocate for the underdog. Her greatest love was her family.
Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Autumn A. (John) Swoope of Clearfield and Cristol Brooke Goodrich of Coudersport; a granddaughter, Mady R. Goodrich of Coudersport; and a sister, Clare (Greg) Hoak of Pittsburgh.
In addition to her parents, Kim was predeceased by her stepmother, Jill Corey, who she loved as a mother; and a brother, Donald Jeffrey Hoak.
In keeping with Kim’s wishes, there will be no public visitation. There will be a Celebration of Kim’s life on a date and place to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Kim’s name may be made to Teacher’s Pet Rescue, 19 Blackberry Lane, Coudersport, PA 16915.
Kim’s daughters entrusted her care and cremation arrangements to Kevin J. Dusenbury, funeral director/owner of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse.
