Canisteo man charged with multple counts of rape

On Thursday August 8th, 2019 the Canisteo Village Police Department in conjunction with the Steuben County Sheriff's Office arrested Alvirn T. Riley, 39, of 13 Taylor Street in the Village of Canisteo. He was charged with two counts of Rape in the 2nd Degree, three counts of Criminal Sex Act in the 2nd Degree and four counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Riley was transported to the Steuben County Holding Facility awaiting arraignment.
