Warsaw woman charged with stealing from her employer

TOWN OF GENESEO: Sheriff Thomas J. Dougherty reports the arrest of a Wyoming County resident on felony larceny charges after an investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.
On August 20, Sheriff’s Investigator Michael Williams arrested and charged Chellcey R. Vetter, age 30 from Warsaw NY, with felony Grand Larceny in the 4th Degree.
It is alleged that, between May 7, 2019 and July 24, 2019, Vetter was employed at a convenient store in the Town of Geneseo and created false refund transactions on the cash register. Vetter then stole cash in the amount of the transactions. The amount of money stolen over the time frame was in excess of $1,000.
Vetter was later arraigned at the Livingston County Centralized Arraignment Part (LC-CAP) at the Livingston County Jail before Village of Dansville Judge Scott Kenney. The Judge released Vetter on her own recognizance.
