Just in time for the opening celebration of the Fassett GreenSpace, founders Cassandra Bull and Andrew Harris, with some local help, are putting the final touches on the GreenSpace. The event from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Main Street site in Wellsville will feature the percussion debut of the Fassett GreenSpace Theme song, the unveiling of the Mosaic Kiosk and turning on of the William Underhill designed fountain.
At the same time Bull accepted a donation from the Gamma Pi Sorority to help with the celebration. In the photo bull receives a check from Sorority Treasurer Teresa Uganiski, with Sorority Past President Nancy Driscoll, Andrew Harris and Sorority President Erin Cornell looking on. The public is invited to attend Saturday's opening ceremonies.
