Wellsville police charge Bath man with felony heroin charges

Wellsville Police on Friday arrested Zackery D. Truax, age 23 of Bath, charging him with 2 counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd (Class B Felony) and 2 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd (Class B Felony). The charges stem into the alleged sale of heroin in the Village of Wellsville, in September and October of 2017. Truax was processed and arraigned before Associate Wellsville Village Justice Walsh. Truax was released. Wellsville Police were assisted by the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force and the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team (C-NET).
