Fillmore - William G. Arnold of 7782 Higgins Creek Road died
Thursday, May 24, 2018 in his home. He was born on January 30, 1934 in
Caneadea, a son of the late Guy and Dorothy Buchheister Arnold. On August 29,
2004 in Letchworth State Park he married Janet Aspell who survives.
Bill was a veteran of the United States Navy serving from
1952 to 1956 on the USS Yorktown Pacific. He worked for 30 years at Unisys
Corporation in Rochester as a Field Electronics Technician. Bill enjoyed and
excelled in carpentry and wood working. He also took great pleasure in passing
on his knowledge to the community. Surviving in addition to his wife are his
children, David (Danielle) Arnold, Lynda (Ed Wesley) Arnold, Myra (Scott) Brown,
Kerry (Tim) Thulin, his step children, Dennis (Marie) Hallock, Doug (Teri)
Hallock, Dan (Karen) Hallock, Jennifer (Bruce Moore) Muzzy, Jo (Anson) Bova,
Richard (Gail) Brundage, nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, 16
step-grandchildren, 22 step-great-grandchildren, a brother, Delwyn (Shirley)
Arnold and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a brother,
Kenneth and a sister, Eileen.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at
11:00 a.m. in Centerville Cemetery. Bob Schooley, pastor of the Centerville
United Methodist Church, will officiate.
