New York State Police Blotter – Jan. 25, 2025
1/25/25 5:09 p.m.- After investigating a one-vehicle
crash in the town of Independence, state troopers arrested John James Davis,
48, of Whitesville. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and having a
BAC above .08%. He’ll answer the charges at a later date.
1/25/25 7:02 a.m.- State police were called for a
reported stolen vehicle from the town of Genesee. As a result, troopers
arrested Derek W. Tyler-Lockwood, 34, of Cuba. He was charged with obstruction,
felony criminal possession of stolen property and felony criminal possession of
a controlled substance. He was taken to the Allegany County Jail for Central
arraignment.
1/26/25 2:27 a.m.- During a traffic stop in the town
of Wellsville, state police arrested Christopher L. Strope, 41, od Elkland, PA.
He was charged with aggravated DWI and first-offense driving while intoxicated.
Court action is pending.
1/26/25 2:54 a.m.- During a traffic stop in Olean,
state police arrested Colston Wayne Saulter, 24, of Wellsville. He was charged
with DWI and having a BAC above .08%. He’ll appear in court at a later date.
