New York State Police Blotter – Jan. 26, 2026
1/26/25 6:56 p.m.- After investigating an alleged sex
crime in the town of Genesee, state police arrested Nickolas A. Roberts, 21, of
Ceres, NY. He was charged with felony attempt to disseminate indecent material
to minors (first-degree) and endangering the welfare of a child. He was taken
to the Allegany County Jail for Central arraignment.
1/27/25 2:19 a.m.- While on patrol in the town of
Alma, state police arrested Alexandra L. Smith, 29, of Genesee, PA. She was charged with driving while intoxicated
and having a BAC above .08%. A court appearance is pending.
