Bernice was born and raised in Manlius, NY, attended Syracuse University, and taught Home Economics for one year. In 1949, she was wed to her dearly beloved, David. They lived in Indiana for 4 years before returning to NY where they spent over 50 years in ministry. Bernice was a long time member of Rose Hill Baptist Church and First Baptist Church of Angelica where she served faithfully in many different roles.
Bernice was a big lover of nature. She enjoyed watching the birdies out the window and was very knowledgeable about many different plants and flowers. She also enjoyed keeping in contact with friends and family members through written correspondence.
Bernice loved the Lord in word and in deed. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her, but we rejoice knowing she is in the presence of her Savior, Jesus Christ.
