New York City, May 23rd, 2018 – The NY Republican State Committee held their convention to select a candidate for the 2018 gubernatorial race. Dutchess County Executive, Marcus J. Molinaro was chosen via a roll call vote to be the Republican nominee for Governor. Senator Cathy Young nominated Julie Powers Killian, former Rye Councilwoman, for Lt. Governor. Killian was given the nod by acclamation.
Allegany County Republican Chairman Dwight “Mike” Healy
joins Julie Powers Killian, Marcus Molinaro and Cathy Young, NYS Senator (57th
District) at the Convention just after the vote.
