Livingston County court report for August 1, 2017

After presentation by Gregory J. McCaffrey, District Attorney, the following cases were handled in the Livingston County Court before the Honorable Robert B. Wiggins the week of August 1, 2017.

JAMES R. ALVERSON, JR., age 65, of Dansville, charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the First Degree (E Felony), Driving with .08 of One Percent or More of Alcohol in His Blood (E Felony), Driving While Intoxicated (E Felony), Speeding, and Failure to Keep Right, appeared with his attorney and the matter was adjourned to August 15, 2017.

RACHEL E. COLE, age 28, of W. Virginia pled guilty to Attempted Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree (D Felony) and the matter was adjourned to September 26, 2017 for sentencing.

JESSICA L. COVEY, age 30, of Dansville was sentenced to 1 year incarceration in the Livingston County Jail on a violation of probation.

NOELLE C. FARMER, age 29, of Dansville was sentenced on a conviction of Welfare Fraud in the Fifth Degree (Misdemeanor) to 3 years probation. She was also order to pay restitution and a $50 DNA fee.

JUSTIN T. IKELER, age 33, of Dansville was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree (D Felony) and Menacing in the Second Degree (Misdemeanor). He was arraigned with his attorney, pled not guilty, and the matter was adjourned to September 26, 2017.

DESHAWN JAMES, age 23, formerly of Groveland Correctional Facility pled guilty to Attempted Promoting Prison Contraband in the First Degree (E Felony) and the matter was adjourned to September 26, 2017 for sentencing.

KYLE A. KIBLER, age 20, of Mt. Morris was sentenced on a conviction of Possessing an Obscene Sexual Performance by a Child (E Felony) to 4 months intermittent incarceration and 10 years probation to include Sexual Offender registration. He was also ordered to pay a $1,050 Sex Offender registry fees, a $325 surcharge, and a $50 DNA fee.

DAVID E. KING, age 20, of Marion was sentenced on a conviction of Criminal Mischief in the Second Degree (D Felony) to time served and 5 years probation. He was also ordered to pay restitution, a $325 surcharge, and a $50 DNA fee.

RACHEL L. KING, age 32, of Mt. Mortis was sentenced on a conviction of Promoting Prison Contraband in the First Degree (D Felony) to time served and 5 years probation to include Drug Treatment Court. She was also ordered to pay a $325 surcharge and a $50 DNA fee.

JADE L. LAFORCE, age 24, of Canaseraga, charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fifth Degree (D Felony) and Inadequate Exhaust, appeared with her attorney and the matter was adjourned to August 15, 2017.

ERIN M. STUBENRAUCH, age 25, of Wayland pled guilty to Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated with a Child (E Felony) and the matter was adjourned to October 10, 2017 for sentencing.

A YOUTHFUL OFFENDER was sentenced on a conviction of Criminal Possession of a Firearm (E Felony) to 10 months incarceration in the Livingston County Jail. He was also ordered to pay a $325 surcharge.
