ANGELICA, NY ----- If you love classic cars, pack up your
family and friends and come to Main Street on Thursday, August 24th from 6:00 –
8:00 p.m. for ANGELICA CRUISE NIGHT.
ANGELICA CRUISE NIGHT is held three times a year -- on the
fourth Thursdays of June, July and August. These events are great opportunities
for owners of vintage vehicles to display their automobiles and for admirers to
enjoy them.
Angelica’s Main Street is closed to traffic between Park
Circle and the Angelica Free Library or these events, allowing cars and people
to occupy the street and lawns this stretch of the historic district. When the
weather cooperates, we attract upwards of 100 cars!
ANGELICA CRUISE NIGHT is free of charge to car owners and
visitors. Registered car owners will
vote for their favorite and select a “Driver’s Choice” winner, and be eligible
for lots of other giveaways. Registration begins at 5:00 p.m.
Find your ultimate dream car while you listen to flashback
50's music. Take a stroll around the Park Circle National Historic District or
grab an old-fashioned root beer float.
* The Cruise-Inn Food
Stand offers burgers, hot dogs and sausage sandwiches, with proceeds benefiting
the Angelica Hose Company.
* Angelica Community Radio (WRAQ.org)
will give away a PAIR OF TICKETS to the Buffalo Bills vs. Detroit Lions game on
Thursday August 31st, AND their famous homemade giveaway!
* Friends of the Angelica Free Library
will host a “Books and Baked Goods” sale fundraiser.
Whether you own a vintage car, truck or motorcycle, a muscle
car or just love to talk with others about them, bring the whole family to
Angelica on Thurs. August 24th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. For more info, call
