Scio – State Route 19 head-on crash injures one

fire, Wellsville ambulance and trooper were called to a two-vehicle head-on
crash on State Route 19 in the vicinity of the ‘big bend.’ According to Scio
fire, “upon arrival one of the two cars required the jaws for extraction to
help remove one patient from the vehicle. Both the driver’s door and rear driver’s
door as well as the B post were removed to help with patient extraction.” Duke
hose of Wellsville assisted by closing route 19 at Vossler Road. Wellsville EMS
transported the injured to Jones Memorial Hospital.
