Regional Drug Task Force takes down two alleged dealers

Location:   N 12th St, Olean, NY   

Details of Incident: On March 12, 2025 at about 8:40PM, Marcus A. Turner (41) of Olean NY and Dillan Leavitt (22) of Allegany NY were arrested for 2 counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree with intent to sell a narcotic drug, 1 count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, and criminal use of drug paraphernalia in the second degree on N 12th St in the City of Olean. The Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force consisting of members from the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office, Salamanca Police Department, and Olean Police Street Crimes Unit were conducting an investigation of drug activity in the greater Olean and Allegany areas when a vehicle operated by Dillan Leavitt was located and subsequently stopped. The traffic stop led to the discovery of suspected crack cocaine, methamphetamine, fentanyl, and US currency. Both parties were processed and are being held pending arraignment. The investigation was also assisted by members of the Olean Police Department and Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.
