On Saturday, Deputies from the Allegany County Sheriff's Office arrested CHRISTOPHER D. JACKSON, age 46, of Wellsville, NY for Assault in the 2nd Degree (felony) for an incident which occurred on March 11, 2025 at the Allegany County Jail during which he allegedly attacked another incarcerated individual with a dangerous instrument resulting in physical injury to the individual. JACKSON was arraigned in CAP Court on Sunday and was held at the Allegany County Jail awaiting further court action. Additional charges are pending in this incident.
