New York State Police Blotter – March 20, 2025
3/20/25 3:50 p.m.- After investigating a domestic
dispute in the town of Amity, state police arrested Willard Apperson, 41, Scio.
He was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing and endangering the welfare
of a child. He was processed and taken to the Allegany County Jail for Central
arraignment.
3/20/25 8:46 p.m.- State police from the Painted Post
barracks investigated a domestic dispute in Steuben County. Quickly thereafter,
troopers arrested Melissa M. Mead, 43, of Addison. She was charged with three
counts of child endangerment. Troopers also arrested Matthew J. Mead, 39, of
Addison. He was charged with criminal contempt for allegedly disobeying a court
order. Both were taken to the Steuben County Jail for Central arraignment.
