COUDERSPORT, PA---Edward Peter Funkhouser, 83, of
Coudersport PA, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025.
Edward was born on July 15, 1941 in Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania to Bernard E. and Catherine
T. (Carberry) Funkhouser. Upon
completion of his career with AT&T, Edward
retired to Coudersport and enjoyed passing his time in solitary pursuits
and avid reading.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents; and two sons,
Peter and Bernard.
Edward is survived by his daughter, Lisa (William) Sprague
of Antioch, IL; a granddaughter, Kati (Josh) Sasser of Gulfport, MS; a
grandson, Jeffrey (Stephanie Church) Sprague of Libertyville, IL; and two great
Grandchildren.
The family will be celebrating his life privately.
Edward’s family entrusted his care and cremation
arrangements to Kevin J. Dusenbury, funeral director/owner of the Virgil L.
Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse, PA.
