Wellsville Police get new officer

Following an executive session, the Wellsville village board Monday night approved hiring Dustin Johnson as a new part-time police officer. The Board also announced that Bud Carlin was tapped to be the new DPW working supervisor. He replaces long-time supervisor Malcom Gordon who recently retired. With the promotion of Carlin, the village will now look to hire a new heavy motor equipment operator.
