Obituary: Tasha I. Takosky, 35, of Roulette


Tasha I. Takosky “beloved mother, daughter, sister and aunt”
ROULETTE, Pa.---Tasha I. Takosky, 35, of Roulette, formerly of Bradford, passed away in her home surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, August 7, 2019, after a long battle with cancer.
Born on Saturday, February 18, 1984 in Beaumont, Texas, she was a daughter of Frank H. Turner and Shirley Y. Butler Takosky.
Tasha was a graduate of Port Allegany High School.  Prior to her illness, she was employed as a home health aide and homemaker.
She loved hunting, fishing, camping, traveling, cooking, mudding with her truck, and John Deere tractors.  At the time of her passing, she, along with her sons, were in the process of building a Koi fish pond at her home.  Her greatest love was her family, especially her children.
Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Shirley Y. (Rodney Carney) Takosky of Port Allegany; her adoptive father, Mark Andrew Takosky; four children, Dylan R. Butler of Roulette, Heavenly Jane Butler of Ulysses, James J. Fleck of Roulette, and Alex J. Butler of Roulette; four siblings, Matthew M. (Jasmine Tankersley) Takosky of Roulette, Kristie I. (Bob Dietz) Takosky of Meadville, Derick J. (Bri) Butler of Erie, and Luke M. Butler of Port Allegany; four nieces; an aunt, Marilyn (Robert) Clark; and an uncle, Claude Rodger Butler.
Tasha was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Mary J. Butler; her maternal grandfather, Richard Joseph Butler, Sr.; two uncles, Richard J. Butler, Jr. and Gary Lee Butler; and an aunt, Marsha Jane Jenkins.
In keeping with Tasha’s wishes, there will be no visitation.  A celebration of her life will be held on a date and time to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to her family for the benefit of her children, c/o the First Baptist Church, attention: Cheryl Barshinger, PO Box 246, Roulette, PA 16746.
Tasha’s family has entrusted her care and cremation arrangements to Kevin J. Dusenbury, funeral director/owner of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse.
