Randol E. Hackett, 71, of Scio, NY, died Wednesday, May 30,
2018 in the Bath VA Medical Center, Bath, NY.
Born November 27, 1946, in Wellsville, he was the son of Stanley and
Bernice Singer Hackett. A Vietnam
Veteran, he served honorably with the US Navy as a corpsman from 1964 – 1970. A
graduate of Haverling High School in Bath, he was employed Rolscreen, Pella,
IA, Vermeer Manufacturing Co., Pella, IA, and the foundry in Friendship,
NY. He was a member of Knights Creek
Evangelical Methodist Church, the DAV, and former member of the American
Legion. Surviving are: two brothers, Rex
Hackett of Scio and Stanley Singer of Caneadea, NY; nieces, Rebecca Hackett of NC, Brenda Singer
of KY, and Laurie Greeson of Little Genesee;
and several cousins including, James R. (Lynda) Stuck of Bolivar, NY and
Ken (Carol) Stonemetz of Houghton, NY.
Friends may call Thursday, June 7, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the
Mulholland-Crowell Funeral Home, Wellsville, NY. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM,
Friday, June 8, 2018 in Bath National Cemetery.
The Rev. Carl Kemp will officiate.
