Jerry L. Williams, 72, of Wellsville, NY, passed away
Friday, June 22, 2018 in his home. Born
August 20, 1945, in Wellsville, he was the son of Glenn W. and Esther Wallace
Williams. He was employed by Air
Preheater in Wellsville. Jerry was a
member of the Willing Volunteer Fire Dept., Wellsville Volunteer Ambulance
Corps, Wellsville VFW Post #2530, Wellsville Moose Lodge #601, and a proud
Eagle Scout. He was an avid camper and
loved NASCAR races. Surviving are: a daughter, Nancy S. (James) Swift of Ohio; three
grandchildren Timothy (Katie) Swift of Ohio, Zachery Swift of Oklahoma, and
Joshua Swift of Ohio; a sister, Judy
Matteson of Addison, NY; a brother,
Eddie Williams of Horseheads, NY;
several nieces and nephews. He
was predeceased by to his parents. A
private graveside service will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellsville. The Rev. Greg DeSalvatore will
officiate. Memorials may be made to a
charity of the donor’s choice.
