turn-out again this time,” he said. The wines of Pollywogg Holler and a special
brew from Ringside Beer of Saratoga Springs are two of the featured tastings.
“In addition, Santos Beverage of Olean, who was with us at the first beer
tasting ten years ago, will have be offering a variety of beers, wines and
ciders to celebrate the occasion too,” he added. Limited tickets are available
for $25 presale and $30 at the door. Tickets include the tastings and a
commemorative tasting glass. Food and non-alcoholic beverages will also be

At 11:30 a.m., the Induction Brunch and Awards gets underway.
“We will be unveiling of the historic Police Gazette trophy for the first
time,” Burt said. “Every recognized Bare Knuckle Boxing Police Gazette Champion
from the 1880’s to present is included on the trophy – it is the Stanley Cup of
Bare Knuckle Boxing!” One of only two men in history have had the
responsibility of naming World Police Gazette Bare Knuckle Boxing Champions –
the other is Founder Richard K. Fox – Burt was bestowed the honor in 2016.
After brunch, there will be a tour of the Hall of Fame
museum. “The HOF is housed in the barns where William Muldoon trained the Great
John L. Sullivan for his very last bareknuckle heavyweight championship back in
1889,” Burt explained. “This is the world’s only Hall of Fame dedicated to
bareknuckle fighters and it has a fascinating history.” Tickets for Saturday’s
events are pre-sale only, include all events, and for only $55.
