A joint investigation by the New York State Police (Wayland)
Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) and Steuben County Child Protective Unit
has resulted in the arrest of a Bath youth.
Zachariah D. Hill, age 16, currently a resident of Snell Farms, #7320
Snell Hill Road, Bath, N.Y., has been charged with one count of Sexual Abuse,
1st degree, a class “D” Felony. State Police Investigator Mark Villone said that on multiple occasions, Hill allegedly subjected a 9-year-old youth to sexual
contact at a private residence in the Town of Jasper. Hill was arraigned in the town of Wheeler
Court and released on his own recognizance.
He is scheduled to reappear in the town of Jasper Court on June 5, 2018
at 6:00 p.m.
