FAIRPORT - Alice B. Marasco, 92, formerly of Honeoye Falls
and Andover, passed away Thursday (May 3, 2018) at Aaron Manor Nursing Home in
Fairport.
Mrs. Marasco was born on June 2, 1925 in Weedsport to Ralph
and Katherine (Judd) Beckwith. She was a 1943 graduate of East Avon High
School. On Aug. 28, 1948, in St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Honeoye Falls, she
married Nicholas L. Marasco, who predeceased her on Oct. 29, 2011, after 63
years of marriage.
Mrs. Marasco is survived by two sons, Nicholas R. (Ginny)
Marasco of Chittenango and Peter (Kathy) Marasco of Victor; three daughters,
Cindy (Dennis) McMullen of Chili, Ginny (Geoff) Smith of Carmel Valley, Cal.
and Cheryl Marasco of Santa Clara, Cal.; and six grandchildren, Jacob McMullen
(Mark Smith), Sam (Trisha) Smith, Jack Smith, Mindy (Andy) Viscardi, Caitlynn
(Paul) Gangarossa and Sarah Marasco.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by one sister,
Mary Beckwith, and three brothers, Robert Beckwith, Kenneth Beckwith and Gene
Beckwith.
Alice was a member of the Honeoye Falls American Legion,
Post 664 Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Lima Query Clue. She loved
flowers and was an avid bird watcher and jigsaw puzzle enthusiast. But most of
all, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who
cherished the time spent with her family.
Friends may call on Friday from 5-8 p.m. at Baker-Swan
Funeral Home in Andover. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday
at 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church in Andover. Burial will follow at
Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Online condolences may be offered at
