Robert F. “Bob” Riley, 81, of Ulysses, PA, formerly of
Palmyra, NJ, died Sunday, December 17, 2017 in his home. A Memorial Service
celebrating Bob’s life will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 14, 2018 in the
Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA. The Rev. Joseph V. Dougherty and the Rev.
Jason Reed will co-officiate. Memorials

Born February 13, 1936, in Greenville, PA, he was the son of
Franklin and Gladys Hollingshead Riley.
On October 3, 1992, in Palmyra, he married the former Rita M. Sock, who
survives. A US Army Veteran, he served
honorably from 1957 – 1959. He served a
police officer in Palmyra in the 1970’s and was employed by NJ American Water
Works for over 25 years, retiring in 1998.
Surviving besides his wife, Rita, are:
a son, R. Steven (Susan) Riley of Harrison Valley; a granddaughter,
Meghan (Jimmy) Palmatier of Ulysses;
eight great-grandchildren, Lyllian Palmatier, Lennyx Palmatier, Morgan
Palmatier, Malorie Palmatier, Marissa Palmatier, Logan Spires, Addison Spires,
and Reagan Riley; nieces and nephews. He
was predeceased by his first wife, Diane Furman Riley; a grandson, Steven Thomas Riley; and two brothers, Donald Riley and Merrill
Riley.
