Asphalt Resurfacing, Main Street
City of Hornell, Steuben County
Dalrymple Gravel & Contracting of Pine City, New York,
will begin asphalt resurfacing work April 23, 2018 on Main Street in the City
of Hornell, Steuben County. Work will extend from Seneca Street to Bank Street.
The duration of the contract is expected to last approximately 2 months, with a
contractually required completion date July 13, 2018.
The project will consist of adjusting drainage structures,
asphalt milling, asphalt resurfacing and ADA ramp improvements. While this work
is taking place, traffic will be maintained by lane closures in one lane.Motorists may encounter flaggers, lane closures and could experience travel delays. It is imperative that motorists remember this season to drive carefully through the many highway and bridge construction zones they will encounter.
