Rushford - David J. Clark of Van Deusan Road passed away
Sunday, April 22, 2018 in Buffalo General Hospital surrounded by his loving
children, grandchildren, brothers and sisters, following a courageous battle
with diabetes and heart disease. He was born on April 28, 1949 in Cuba, a son
of the late R. Dean and Eleanor Williams Clark. David J. was a 1967 graduate of
Rushford Central School. After high school he worked for the County for four
years before he purchased his first Dairy farm called Da-Sha Farm on Hardys
Corners Road and at one time he managed three farms. He loved farming and managing his 100lb
producing milk cows, he was a member of the Rushford Volunteer Fire Company for
many years, drove school bus for Rushford Central School and was a former
employee of API Airtech in Arcade. He was also a member of the I.O.O.B. Club in
Franklinville. He was an avid Hunter since he was 14 years old and loved
hunting deer and turkey.
Surviving are his children, Les Clark of Rushford, Shelly
Clark of Franklinville, Andrew Clark of Virginia, Jeff Clark of Rushford, Megan
(Evan) Campbell of Amherst, two grandsons, Garrett and Evan Clark, his
siblings, Elizabeth (Douglas) Worthington of Rushford, Bill Clark of Fillmore,
Orpha (Tim) Holland of Sandusky, Calvin (Susan) Clark of Houghton, Jerry
(Dawen) Clark of Rushford and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends
may gather from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, April 27, 2018 at the
Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N Genesee Street, Fillmore and from 2:00 to
3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the Rushford Baptist Church where a
funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m.
