PA: Shinglehouse teen faces felony rape and other counts

A Shinglehouse teenager was arraigned in court at 2:25 a.m. Sunday following his arrest by Coudersport-based State Police. According to the criminal docket, 18-year-old John Wesley Post, Jr. was charged with:
  1. Rape with forcible compulsion, felony
  2. Involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with forcible compulsion, felony
  3. Sexual assault, felony
  4. Aggravated indecent assault without consent, felony
  5. Corruption of minors, felony
  6. Unlawful restrain/Involuntary servitude, misdemeanor
  7. Harassment with physical contact, summary offense.
The alleged crimes occurred Saturday in Shinglehouse Borough. Arraigned by
Magisterial District Judge Kari A. McCleaft, Post was released on $75,000 unsecured bail. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for August 22 at 11 a.m.
