Irene H. Pizutti, of Cuba, and formerly of New Jersey was
peacefully laid to rest on August 15, 2017.
She was born October 12, 1928, in Newark, NJ. Irene was the daughter of Nicholas and Stella
“Bobbie” Zajac Kiss. On December 19, 1949 Irene married WWII Veteran Henry M.
Falandys. She later married Gerald
Pizutti. She was predeceased by both. Irene
was dedicated to her job as a security guard at General Motors for many
years. She was well known for her jokes,
candies, and her treasures she gathered to always have on hand for her family. She loved shopping, especially on QVC and at
Giant Food Mart. She also enjoyed
playing lottery tickets and keeping in touch with her friends. Most of all, Irene loved spending time with
her family.
Irene is survived by her son Barry (Donna) Falandys of Cuba; 4 grandchildren, Jennifer Falandys of Olean,
Stephanie (Christina) Reigel of Olean, Theresa Falandys of Dunkirk, Melissa
Falandys of Wellsville and one great grandchild.
A private visitation and funeral service was held at the
Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., 9 Bull Street, Cuba
with the Rev. Dennis J.J. Mancuso officiating.
Burial and committal services were held at Our Lady of
