Third arrest made in Wellsville meth lab probe


Wellsville Police today arrested Gregory A. Ordiway, age 32 of Belmont, charging him with Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine 3rd (Class D Felony), Unlawful Disposal of Methamphetamine Laboratory Material (Class E Felony) and Conspiracy 5th.  The charges stem from an incident that took place at a Maple Avenue residence where a Methamphetamine Lab was allegedly discovered.  Ordiway was located by Allegany County Sheriff’s Deputies in Belmont and transported to Wellsville. Ordiway was arraigned before Associate Wellsville Village Judge Walsh.  Ordiway was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $5,000.00 cash bail or $10,000.00 property bond.  Ordiway is due back in Wellsville Village Court on April 18th at 4:30 p.m.  Wellsville Police were assisted by New York State Police CCSERT, Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force, New York State Police C-NET, New York State Parole and the Allegany County Probation Department. Additional charges are pending as Wellsville Police continue their investigation.
