Steuben Task Force for the Prevention of Child Abuse looking for nominations

BATH – The Steuben County Task Force for the Prevention of Child Abuse is looking for nominations of an individual, program, or organization that has significantly contributed to the prevention of child abuse in Steuben.
Nominations are welcome from schools, government agencies, community organizations, private practitioners, churches, and other concerned individuals or groups. Submissions should include what the nominee has done to prevent child abuse in Steuben County; what distinguishes efforts from other prevention efforts; and specifically why the nominee deserves special recognition. The deadline for nominations is April 7 with the awardee recognized by the county Legislature in late April, as a part of National Child Abuse Prevention Month. For nomination forms or more information contact Bill Caudill, Youth Bureau Coordinator, (607) 664-2119, or ask any Task Force member.
