New York State Police Blotter – March 9, 2025
3/9/25 4:45 p.m. – Three teenagers were taken into
custody Sunday afternoon following a Town of Willing burglary. A name-protected
18-year-old from Wellsville and a name-protected 18-year-old from Jamaica, NY
were both charged with felony burglary and felony criminal mischief. The
Wellsville teen was released on an appearance ticket while the Jamaica teen was
taken to the Allegany County Jail for Central arraignment. A third suspect,
identified as 19-year-old Connor G. Atkins of Catonsville, Maryland was charged
with the following felonies: burglary, two counts of possession of a forged
instrument and criminal mischief. He was taken to jail to await Central
arraignment.
3/9/24 11:37 p.m.- After investigating a complaint in
the Town of Alfred, state police arrested Jeffrey J. Barrett, 56, of Alfred
Station. He was charged with endangering the welfare of a child. A court
appearance is pending.
