Obituary: Bonnie D. Studer, 76, Greenwood

Greenwood - Bonnie D. Studer, 76, a resident of Church Hill Road, passed away peacefully Sunday (March 2, 2025) at her home.

Born in Greenwood, May 26, 1948, she was the daughter of Henry and Doris Alger Raish. She had resided all her life in Greenwood, except for a short time when she made her home in Wellsville. She was a graduate of Greenwood Central School and had been employed as a lunch monitor at the school. She will be remembered as the “Baby Sitter” for the community having played a part in many young people’s growing up years.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Robert Studer, and her son Robert Studer Jr. Also predeceased by her sisters, Janet Halsey, Marilyn Austin, and Betty Calkins, and her brother, Richard Raish.
Surviving are her daughters, Vickie (Lee) Hoyt of Arkport, and Michelle (John) Hendrickson of Cameron Mills, her son Ricky (Michelle) Studer of Greenwood, and her sister, Dorothy (Robert) Streeter of Greenwood. Grandchildren, Ashley (Craig) Irvine, Brittney (Kevin) Almeter, Logan Hoyt, Katrina (Teddy) Morseman, Joshua (Sarah) Hendrickson, Justin Hendrickson, Kassandra (Matt) Hendrickson, Troy (Colleen) Studer, Brittney Houghtaling, Jacob (Delaney) Houghtaling, Dale (Holly) Houghtaling. Great Grandchildren, Bryant Irvine, Raegan Irvine, Ava Jayde Irvine, Dylon Morseman, Bradley Morseman, Kayleigh Morseman, Haddie Hendrickson, Vincent Hendrickson.
The family will receive friends on Friday (March 7, 2025) from 2 PM until 5 PM at the Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 6 Spruce Street in Canisteo. A luncheon will follow at the Greenwood Fire Department.
